Health Check Profiles

The Health check profiles are based on research on the importance of different risk factors in relation to lifelong health, quality of life and daily functioning. Health check profiles are snapshots of one’s current health and life style. We have several profiles which will help the clients understand their current health status and can be used to check improvements of their health over time.

Basic Profile
- It consists of tests to have basic understanding on overall health condition. A total of 59 parameters are tested under thyroid profile, diabetes screening, iron deficiency profile, liver profile, lipid profile, renal profile and complete hemogram.

Advanced Profile – The 62 parameters profile is a broad examination of an individual's health status which allows physicians to monitor state of individual’s liver and kidney function, blood composition, cardiovascular system, and to spot any tell-tale signs that require preventative action, from small lifestyle tweaks to a necessary specialist referral.

Elite Profile – It is an in-depth analysis of one’s health and fitness and gives an extensive picture about individual’s current health, risk factors and lifestyle. The results will enable us to compile an accurate and comprehensive report offering essential advice and recommendations. The package put together the information on cardiac risk markers, arthritis, pancreas and electrolyte profiles in addition to the panels under Advanced Profile.

Vitamin D Profile - Vitamin D deficiency has been linked to increased risk for many common and serious diseases, including some common cancers, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis. Deficiency is also prevalent in infants who are solely breastfed and who do not receive Vitamin D supplementation. The Vitamin D profile tests can help to determine if sun exposure is adequate, if dietary Vitamin D is sufficient, and to assess the likelihood of malabsorption or liver disease.

Vitamin Profile - Vitamins are essential to life. They contribute to good health by aiding in the metabolism & helping the bio chemical processes that provide energy from digested food. Vitamins work with enzymes, helping the body perform all of it’s necessary activities. To have right amount of vitamins in our body is thus important to keep us healthy and active. Our Vitamin profile test measures Vitamin D, B12, Follic acid, Calcium and Thyroid stimulating hormone and provides an over-all picture if the vitamins are functional in our body.

Fat-Soluble Vitamins Profile – There are two types of vitamins, some are water soluble and others are fat or oil soluble. Water soluble vitamins cannot be stored by the body so they need to be taken daily. These include C & B vitamins. Oil or fat soluble vitamins are stored for longer period of times by the body. These include A, D, E & K which can cause serious health issues if they are not present in right quantities in our body.

Cardiac Risk Markers - Cardiac markers help physicians to assess acute coronary syndromes and to identify and manage high-risk patients. Homocysteine, C-reactive protein (CRP), Lipoprotein A, are all used for assessment of the suspected acute myocardial infarction.

Advance Plus Cardiac Profile - While routine lipid screening plays an important role in cardiovascular risk assessment it does not provide a complete picture of health. Our unique Advanced Plus Cardiac Profile provides additional and complementary insight into cardiovascular risk beyond cholesterol testing alone. This is a group of tests and health factors that have been proven to indicate a person's chance of having a cardiovascular event such as a heart attack or stroke. They have been refined to indicate the degree of risk: slight, moderate, or high.

Advance Thyroid Profile – This profile helps to check the function of the thyroid gland, check the levels of the hormones (chemicals) made by the thyroid gland. They are mainly used to detect hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) and hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid). Thyroid function tests can also be done to monitor treatment with thyroid replacement medicine for people who have hypothyroidism, check thyroid gland function in people who are being treated for hyperthyroidism and screen newborn babies for inherited problems with the thyroid.

Anemia Profile - Anemia is a condition that occurs when the number of red blood cells (RBCs) and/or the amount of hemoglobin found in the red blood cells drops below normal. Red blood cells and the hemoglobin contained within them are necessary to transport and deliver oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body. Without a sufficient supply of oxygen, many tissues and organs throughout the body can be adversely affected. The profile not only identifies anemia but also analyzes the increased risk of developing anemia in people with diets poor in iron and vitamins, chronic diseases such as kidney disease, diabetes, cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, a family history of inherited anemia, chronic infections such as tuberculosis or HIV, and those who have had significant blood loss from injury or surgery.

Pregnancy Profile - A pregnancy blood test is a routine test used by all healthcare providers as part of the prenatal care. Pregnancy profile includes additional blood testing to monitor potential complications, such as anemia or diagnosis of possible infections, such as toxoplasmosis. This 49 parameter test is composed of hormone and vitamin profile, complete hemogram, sexually transmitted disease analysis and diabetes screening.

Arthritis -SB Profile - More than for most other diseases, the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis require a hands-on approach. By examining tender joints and muscles and listening to description of symptoms and their severity, a doctor can usually get a pretty good idea of what’s going on inside individual’s body. To confirm a diagnosis, monitor disease progress or medication effectiveness, or determine if the drugs one taking are causing potentially dangerous – but not evident – side effects, a comprehensive Arthritis SB profile need to be considered.
This profile is recommended for the evaluation of various hyperandrogenic disorders, including congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

Screen Profile - Screenings are tests that look for diseases before anyone has symptoms. Screening tests can find diseases early, when they're easier to treat. Our 31 parameter screen profile tests for Thyroid stimulating hormone, diabetes profile and complete hemogram.
